Workshop: Song Writing  with Jan Randall,  Composer
From the legendary Second City, VCM’s own Jan Randall will be conducting a comedy song writing and performance workshop featuring some of the 40 songs he has written and performed on CBC Radio’s Irrelevant Show. Jan has collaborated with Mike Meyers, Bob Newhart, Catherine O’Hara, Ron James, Ryan Stiles, Dame Edna, and many other legendary comedy greats.

Odd Ones In: Concert celebrating Canadian Music, solo works written for the following unique instruments: accordion, bagpipes, guitar, harmonium, harpsichord, lute, organ, saxophone, and voice.  Included in the program is a world premiere by Rodney Sharman.  Come and have a close-up look.  Composed and or played by: Cathy Lewis, Rodney Sharman, Nicholas Fairbank, Douglas Hensley, Monik Nordine, Aleksander Milojevic, Jelena Milojevic, James Troy, Daniel Brandes, Darren Buhr.
