1. Aspire’s Hungry Hungry Half Marathon 

The Hungry Hungry half is a run that is dedicated to fun! On this out and back course, you will find Live Music, Sweet Treats, and Prizes for Costumes and Spirit. You will run along Kelowna’s waterfront, and the rails and trails system, but also get a bit of a view as you tackle Mountain Ave. At the finish line, instead of medals, there will be a special surprise.

2. Off With Their Heads (acoustic set, full band), Fire Next Time – at Doc Willoughby’s
 
This self-guided tour of beautiful gardens provides a variety for all levels of gardeners.
Chefs in the Classroom – a classroom gardening and cooking programme in elementary schools created by the Okanagan Chefs Association and Central Okanagan Community Gardens – helping neighbourhoods and communities create sustainaable green spaces for gardening, food production, gathering and education.

Gather up your family and celebrate Father’s Day by joining us at Waterfront Park (Rhapsody Plaza) for a 2.5km, 4km or 5km walk, run, or stroll. Enjoy a pancake breakfast, family-friendly activities, and lots of great prizes.  All funds raised at the Walk/Run will support prostate cancer research and education in BC and help provide resources, mentorship, and support to those living with the disease.

The Kelowna Art Gallery hosts the 31st annual Art in Action exhibition, which showcases the creativity and artistic talent of local youth. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada, the title for this year’s Art in Action exhibition is LOVE. The year 2017 is an important milestone in the history of our country and is an opportunity for high school and middle school students to share their stories, thoughts, and perspectives about our nation through artistic expression.
