  1. Spring WestJet Wine Tastings (May 5)

The urban chic setting of the Rotary Centre for the Arts is your venue to taste over 250 wines all under one roof. Let WestJet transport you into the wine culture of the Okanagan by featuring 60 wineries and live music, with a variety of appetizers from Nesters Market. Authentic, fun, and incredibly social.

  1. Lip Sync Battle at Habitat (May 6)

The return of the most epic lip sync battle Kelowna has ever seen is here! And this time it’s also a fundraiser for YMCA of Okanagan, hosted by Susan Knight from Q103 Kelowna.

  1. Okanagan Craft Cider Festival (May 6)

The 3rd annual BC Cider Week is taking place this month with cideries from around BC pouring their finest ciders. Food trucks will also be on hand so you can sip away the afternoon and enjoy bites from The CrAsian Food Truck and The Boneyard BBQ & Grilling Co.

  1. Goga – Yoga with Goats (every Sunday)

Take part in a one-hour yoga class in the barn as the goats climb, cuddle and play amongst the participants. After class, enjoy a complimentary warm beverage beside the bonfire and head to the petting zoo to enjoy our other barnyard friends.

  1. Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market (every Wednesday/Saturday)

Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market features farm, food, and craft vendors. They draw vendors from between the boundaries of Armstrong and Summerland and focus on handmade, locally-grown, and artisanal products.

  1. Spring Awakening at Kelowna Actors Studio (May 11-13)

This student production in Kelowna is an angsty, rock musical adaptation of the seminal play about the trials and tribulations of growing up. The winner of 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, told by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater.

  1. Okanagan College 26th Annual Charity Golf Tournament (May 25)

Mark your calendar to join the Okanagan Golf Club for a fun and special day that supports Okanagan College students through their foundation.

  1. Lee Aaron at Mary Winspear Center (May 19th)

This legendary rock diva started out singing jazz and Broadway standards in musical theatre in the Toronto suburbs and By 15 she had formed her own rock band. In 1984 she released Metal Queen and the album’s title track catapulted Aaron to iconic status in the rock world.

  1. Mothers Day Yoga + Brunch with lululemon (May 14)

Celebrate Mothers everywhere at Painted Rock Estate Winery and take yoga instruction from a lululemon instructor, then enjoy a balanced and synchronized brunch prepared by Ben Pallett of Kitchen Sync Catering.

Meadowlark Nature Festival is the flagship event presented each year by the Okanagan Similkameen Conservation Alliance. The festival’s mandate is to present entertaining, engaging and educational programs that showcase our natural environment.
