  1.      Old Dominion at the South Okanagan Events Centre (February 11th)


Acclaimed country rockers, Old Dominion, announce their headlining ‘Happy Endings’ world

tour for 2018, with the first leg of dates set to kick off on February in Canada. Canadian

country groups, The Washboard Union and Cold Creek County, are set to open for Old

Dominion at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, BC.


  1. The Kelowna Actors Studio presents Sister Act (February 7th – 25th)


Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film. Sing Hallelujah

for this new, ridiculously fun, feel-good musical that will have you jumping to your feet!

Delores Van Cartier, a ‘wanna be’ Las Vegas diva’s life takes a surprising turn when she

witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in – where else – a convent! Can we get an AMEN!


  1. Jazz Cafe Kelowna presents Cari Burdett (February 11th)


VIMA Vocalist of the Year (2016) comes to the Kelowna Forum to perform with her fabulous

band of sought-after musicians). Soak in Cari Burdett’s sultry mezzo vocals and feel yourself

transported into the clubs of Paris, Rome, Berlin and New York.


  1. Third Beach at the Lake Country Art Gallery (February 13th – 25th)


The Lake Country is very excited to start off 2018 with an installation by artists Melany

Nugent and Trent Noble. This installation will ponder the idea of community and activate the

gallery as a gathering space by enhancing a sense of warmth, comfort and home with a

virtual campfire.

For a new album that The Sheepdogs didn’t initially set out to make,Changing Colours is a

stunning achievement. Proud purveyors of guitar-driven modern-day retro rock, the triple

Juno Award-winning Saskatoon-based quintet has expanded its sound on Changing Colours

to encompass more styles and hues to enhance the Sheepdogs’ trademark beef-and-boogie

twin-axe riffs, hooks, shuffles and long-haired aesthetic.

The Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA) is excited to present the Montreal

Canadian Alumni vs. the COHA Knights. The Montreal Canadiens Alumni will

give their fans a chance to relive the best years of hockey and play against COHA Knights,

made up of local hockey players and former NHLers who call Kelowna home.
