* FINAL PERFORMANCES OF SIN CITY’S LONGEST SEASON YET – VEGAS ’62 *
FAREWELL to 1962 Las Vegas!
Victoria’s top comedic actors spin a continuing tale, completely unscripted and unrehearsed in Sin City the Live Improvised Serial. The action takes place at the fictional “Oasis Casino” in Las Vegas 1962 – the era of The Rat Pack and The Mob. The characters debuted in spring 2016, and their stories have played out over the fall and winter of 2016/2017. The March 28 Finale promises to wrap all of their tales, and marks 34 episodes in vintage Vegas – the longest & glitteriest season yet – as well as the talented troupe’s 145th episode in Victoria. Since 2011, the acclaimed company has produced six seasons in completely different genres such as Dustbowl Carnies, Medieval Castle and Outer Space.
Directed live by Ian Ferguson with a musical score improvised by Alexander Brendan Ferguson, hilarious shenanigans, songs and more than a hint of drama are improvised by the quick-witted cast, who are joined by a raft of guest entertainers – musicians, magicians, jugglers, singers – on the “Camel’s Toe Show Lounge” . A summary of ‘The Story So Far’ is provided in the program and posted on the website, but each episode also stands alone.
Starring: Mike Delamont, Kirsten Van Ritzen, Morgan Cranny, Robert Conway, Christine Upright, Alan Penty, Charlie de Pape, Bill Nance, Amy Culliford, Daniel Belkin, Raylen Lanktree, Laura Sofia Ramoso. With Justin Carter and special guests. Music by: Alexander Brendan Ferguson Directed by Ian Ferguson
